Gold testing reagent:
Au-375°, Au-500°, Au-585°, Au- 750°, 900° , Au-958° – 1.50 GEL per 1 ml
Au-583° – 5.00 GEL per 1 ml
Silver testing reagent:
1.50 GEL per 1 ml

Methodical guidelines for using testing solutions:
a. The storage time of testing solutions in sealed ampoules is one year;
b. The testing solutions in sealed ampoules should be stored in a dark and cool place;
c. The storage time of testing solutions after transferring them from ampoules into the vessel with buffed covering should not exceed one month;
d. After transferring from ampoules into the vessel with buffed lid the solutions should be stored at not above 15-250 C;
e. While the process of testing the vessel with testing solution in it must not be left without lid; before each use the suitability of the liquid should be checked;
f. When opening ampoules without marking, a file should be used; it should be rubbed against the oppressed part of the ampoule and then – the upper part. When opening it the glass should not be crashed;
g. In case of marked ampoules it should be pushed against the side of marking – a dot of colored paint – and the head of the ampoulus will be broken off without using a file or a rubber.

Precautionary measures:
The acids composing solutions represent chemically aggressive substances and when applying them there should be taken the following precautions: never breathe in the gas raising out of the ampoule; don’t bring it close to the nose; when transferring it into the other vessel or braking the ampoule we should be careful and guard against skin contact; in case of spilling or skin contact, this area should be wash off with running water and treated with soda water (5-10 gr of soda diluted in 200ml water). The solution spilled on the table should be wiped using soda diluted in water and soap.
